About Absolute Health

Absolute Health was founded in 2006 by Dr. Yousef Elyaman, a family physician frustrated with conventional care. He saw patients placed on medications for abnormal labs, only to feel the same—or worse. His search for a better way led him to functional medicine, and to building a practice designed to restore joy in medicine for clinicians.

Today, we’re a physician-led, insurance-based primary care practice with a collaborative team that includes physicians, NPs, PAs, health coaches, and a wellness director. Our mission: provide root-cause, preventative care while protecting the well-being of the doctors who deliver it.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient primary care with a focus on prevention and root-cause care
Manage acute and chronic conditions using conventional + integrative tools
Design personalized care plans (nutrition, hormones, supplements, lifestyle coaching)
Order and interpret both conventional and functional labs
Collaborate with advanced practice providers and health coaches
Participate in weekly case reviews and structured in-house training

Qualifications

MD or DO; Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain one)
Interest in functional/integrative medicine (training provided — prior certification not required)
Strong communication and patient relationship skills

Training & Development

Direct mentorship with Dr. Elyaman (IFM faculty)
Weekly in-house functional medicine training (minimum 2 hours)
CME allowance + paid support for IFM certification
Structured onboarding with gradual schedule build-up (start slower, increase at your pace)

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $180,000 – $210,000 (experience-based)

Sustainable schedule: Outpatient only. Last AM patient at 11:15 (lunch 12–1), last PM patient at 4:15.
